The Flower Workshop Book Review

The first thing that drew me into this book was the beautiful cover! I absolutely love flowers, so just had to check this book out!

Here is The Flower Workshop Book Review…

Summary: Written by a celebrated floral designer and lavishly illustrated with full-color photography, this book not only provides step-by-step instructions for 50 stunning floral projects from simple to spectacular, but also equips readers with the skills to customize arrangements at home.

Whether hosting a party, helping out with a friend’s wedding, or wishing to incorporate the beauty of flowers into everyday life, The Flower Workshop allows you to create dazzling arrangements that go beyond merely pretty and into realms of the dramatic, the unexpected, and sometimes even the magical. Written by a celebrated floral designer and lavishly illustrated with full-color photography, this book not only provides step-by-step instructions for more than forty-five stunning floral projects from simple to spectacular, but also equips you with the skills to customize arrangements at home.

Known for her hands-on flower workshops at FlowerSchool New York, Ariella Chezar walks you through the nuts and bolts of creating a variety of small flourishes, tonal arrangements, branch arrangements, handheld bouquets, wreathes, garlands, grand gestures, and more—all accompanied by detailed photography. Chezar offers advice and philosophy on everything from texture and color to foliage and containers, providing an overall approach to living and working with flowers, with an eye toward fresh, local, wild, seasonally influenced floral design. For every occasion, from relaxed and simple to lavish and monumental, The Flower Workshop celebrates the special moments in your life with glorious, fragrant floral arrangements and enhances your surroundings with abundant beauty.

The Flower Workshop Book Review

My Review: Well, first of all the colors and pictures were so bright and vivid. It was like looking at a picture book! Flower arranging is something I really enjoy, so I loved all the content in this book. There were many different arrangements, with many different types of flowers!

The author did a good job of showing exactly how the arrangement was put together, which I appreciated. Some of the flowers in here aren’t easily obtainable, but this would be a great option for a party or event you were planning! Plus, it is just a beautiful book! I currently have it displayed on my kitchen island for the aesthetics! If you are a fan of flowers, floral arrangements, or just pretty things, you will enjoy this book!

Chemist Tip

And, if you love fresh flowers check out these tips to extend the life of them for weeks, or how to trim your own!

Now that spring is here and my roses are blooming, I plan on having more fresh flowers around the house!

Next up, I have some reviews on some great Hollywood Biographies I have been digging into the past month. They are some of my favorites too read. I have also been reading a few new mysteries! What are you currently reading right now? Any suggestions for me?

Have a great day!

The cover of the book is so pretty and bright and festive! I’m getting back into reading… I go in cycles. I’m 1/3 of the way into a cozy mystery that’s on borrow from the library, so I can’t dwaddle in reading it as it’s due soon… 🙂

It looks like a beautiful book! I buy a lot of books with a pretty cover and then I’m disappointed by the lack of information. This one sounds like it is useful as well as pretty.

Oh, I hate that too!! You get a book that looks amazing and then it’s a total disappointment! This one was definitely worth the read, plus useful for a reference later on!
