It has now been TWO full months using this powerful liquid collagen, and I wanted to touch base with you on this.
Last month, I shared with you the extra-strength E27 Liquid Collagen (use code VIPAlexis15 for 15% off) I have been using.
First of all, I was blown away how many readers were interested in the blog post last month. I had so many emails, questions, and comments about this product because it is something readers have wanted to learn more about. Many readers purchased it, and I have already heard great feedback.
The before and after pictures were a surprise to me too. My hair, nails, and skin have all benefited from this fantastic collagen.
Here is how it has been going two months into it!
Two Months Using This Powerful Liquid Collagen
Why I Started Taking Collagen?
I mentioned to you last month, I had been on the lookout for a collagen supplement to take that would not only help with my postpartum hair loss, but also target the brittle nails I had been struggling with along with skin and joint health.
After researching for a while, I chose the e27 liquid collagen (code VIPAlexis15) because it not only contained a dose of Vitamin C, but also hyaluronic acid. Both of these ingredients are crucial for a successful collagen supplement. Most of the supplements you find online don’t have these additions and it can be the difference between collagen working and not working.
How I Have Added e27 Liquid Collagen Into My Routine:
Taking this has been so easy! I take one tablespoon each morning after I eat breakfast. Last month, I got the mango flavor which was delicious. This month, I decided to try the pineapple flavor (code VIPAlexis15), and it is also amazing! In fact, the pineapple might be my favorite flavor.
You can also mix this with water to make it into a drink, or mix it with any other beverage you enjoy each day.
Also, you can take up to two tablespoons per day for faster results!
Another thing to keep in mind, you will see results a few weeks to a month after starting this collagen, but you need to allow two months to see the full potential.
My Results After Two Full Months of Taking This Powerful Liquid Collagen
The before and after pictures from last month were amazing! My hair and nails were so noticeably improved, I was very impressed. Now after two months, I am happy to report that my hair is even thicker and longer (see picture below from day 1 to now in month two). It is also so shiny and healthy looking.
My nails continue to be strong too. I am so happy with these results since my nails were so thin and brittle before starting this.
Into the second month, I have also been delighted with how bright my skin looks. It has that dewy look to it!
I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis in my joints. My left knee has osteoarthritis after decades of having RA. The RA disappeared in my knee about 10 years ago, but I have struggled with osteo in this particular knee. I feel like it has less aches in it and feels more lubricated taking collagen.
Yes, this also curbs your appetite! With the amount of protein in a single dose, it can keep you full for longer. This is a great bonus benefit to this collagen. This is why I have been taking it after breakfast.
A few other questions from readers:
Last month, I had some great questions from readers I thought would be good to answer in this post! Some of them were asked several times too.
Does this interact with other supplements?
I still take all my regular supplements and medications with this collagen. This should not interact with anything! I always recommend you share this with your doctor though so they can verify taking a new supplement with your current routine. They will have more knowledge about your current situation. For me, it goes with everything else I already take.
How long does this supplement last you?
I take one tablespoon per day, so one bottle is enough for a month. You can take up to two tablespoons per day for faster results, but I have been taking one.
Do you take this morning, afternoon or night? Does it matter?
I take this in the morning after eating breakfast. You can take it anytime of day, but if you want the benefits of curbing your appetite, I think taking it in the morning is best! It is okay to take it before or after eating, but I like doing it after I eat.
Can you take this with an autoimmune disease?
This is definitely a question for your doctor! I have rheumatoid arthritis and take it, but each person is different. Each autoimmune disease is different too, so your doctor is the person to ask for this one!
Is the liquid collagen better than a powdered collagen?
Yes, you will probably see much better results with this liquid. Powdered collagens might not mix as well in other drinks, and many of them don’t contain the vitamin C or hyaluronic acid addition to make the collagen more successful. You also can’t take powdered collagen straight, it needs to be mixed with a liquid or food to ingest. This supplement can be taken straight from a spoon or class without adding it to anything else, so that makes it quicker and more convenient for me.
How long can you take this?
You can take this forever! I have been using this for two months now, and I will continue to use this daily because I have been so impressed with the results. This is a supplement you can enjoy for months and years to come.
I hope this was helpful and answered all your questions! Feel free to comment below or send me an email if there is anything else I can clarify for you.

I bought this when you shared your post last month, so I have been using it about 3 weeks now and it has been SO awesome for me too. My dark circles are better, my skin looks way younger, and I am seeing new hair growth as well. Thank you for posting about this! I always take your reocmmendations because they always work
Alexis says
Wow, that is great to hear! Thanks for sharing that Claudia!

I bought some of this when you shared it the first time because I have never had luck with collagen before. I have used the powder kind, and some other liquid collagen, but it had so much sugar in it. I loved that this one didn’t havve so much sugar in it too. My hair and skin look so much healthier after just a month of using this too. Thank you so much for all you do and post for us
Alexis says
That is so good to hear! I went through the same thing with many collagen drinks having too much sugar which flared my RA. I am so happy you have had success with this too, thanks for sharing

First I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do and the information you provide! I’ve been doing natural cleaning as much as possible my entire adult life, now with the Internet, it’s so easy to get any information you need, problem is there’s SO SO much misinformation and/or inaccurate information. I see so many “recipes” for homemade cleaners that are very clearly toxic when combined and it scares me because some people really don’t know. When I first found your blog I was blown away! I no longer end up on a wild goose chase trying to find ideas that don’t just work but that are safe! I appreciate you and your help! BTW babies are total cuties! Lastly this isn’t just your blog but I’ve noticed that on majority of similar sites that ask you to sign up, it’s nagging if you don’t fill it out, but there needs to be an option or box to check if you already belong. Otherwise it’s as bad as a pop up. Just an idea….thanks again!

Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate hearing that! It can be really hard to trust anything you read online nowadays, so I really enjoy getting to share everything ๐ For the thing that is asking you to sign up, is that a sign up for the newsletter? Or is it something asking you to follow on instagram? I don’t have any popups for my newsletter, so I want to check and see so I can figure it out. Thanks!!
MK says
I think sheโs talking about a banner that appears at the top of the screen. On a phone, it takes up about a quarter of the page.
Alexis says
Oh yes, that is not a popup but how the newsletter subscription is on mobile. There is a large x you can press on the right at it goes away ๐ With the new laws they have added for websites, I had to add in the privacy check mark and it makes the box a little longer. Hope this helps!
