My birthday is next Sunday, which seriously blows my mind. I DON’T want it to already be my birthday because it is my last year in my 20s. Sad times!
Having a winter birthday growing up, meant I didn’t get to do anything too extravagant since it was in the middle of the school year and the weather was never known. I actually remember birthdays that were in the 80s, raining, snowing, icing, bitterly cold, pleasant…February in Texas is very bipolar. If anything, it was a skating rink party or a slumber party. In my currently post a few weeks ago, I mentioned that all of my friends had February birthdays too. A few of us had consecutive birthdays starting on the 16th. It was the 16, 17, 19, 20, and mine the 21st.
One of my best friends and I had joint slumber parties for a few years in a row and it was crazy!
My favorite one was our 60s themed birthday! My parent’s house was decorated from top to bottom with big hippy flowers, disco balls, and we all dressed up. So much fun! Here is a picture from that night…my friends will kill me for putting this on here lol, but it was one of the best birthdays ever!
Aw, the good old days when live was super simple and sweet. Being adult is fun and all, but nothing beats being a kid!
I always have a wish list of things on amazon I keep in my save for later cart. Some of these are just fun and some of these are necessities!

I’m a Feb baby too and I know what you mean…in Vancouver we get a lot of rain in Feb….when I was young it was snow, so when I got a new bike or roller-skates {yes, I’m that old!} I would never be able to use them until it warmed up! haha!!

Happy Birthday! Enjoy 29. But 30 is awesome. It really is. I am 44 now, but 29 and 30 were amazing years for me as I gained more confidence. Fantastic times.
