We started our Chemistry Cachet newsletter way back in 2015.

I wrote this post in 2016 about why I started a newsletter because it was a little bit of an unusual thing for bloggers to do back then.

Now that newsletters are pretty common, I went back and updated this post for you (2022) to share why you should join our newsletter!

Chemistry Cachet’s newsletter has been around for almost 7 years now. I started it a few months after starting Chemistry Cachet (April 2015).

5 Reasons To Subscribe To Chemistry Cachet's Free Monthly Newsletter

It has grown to well over 20,000 subscribers, and I have only missed one monthly newsletter in those years. That was March 2020 when I had emergency knee surgery. Other that that, every 1st of the month, you will find our letter in your inbox.

Here is why you might like to subscribe to it also!

One. You Will Never Miss A Post

The biggest reason to sign up for our monthly newsletter is so you don’t miss a post! I have had readers over the years say they missed a post and never knew we had it. Follow us on social media is great, and you will be able to watch videos like on Instagram. But social media is persnickety, so you can miss new posts without even knowing it. Our monthly newsletter contains all new blog posts from the month, and it goes right to your inbox.

Two. You Don’t Need Social Media to Follow Us

Many people don’t have even have social media, so we like to make sure everyone gets to enjoy our stuff! If you don’t do Facebook or Instagram, like more and more people aren’t doing anymore, than our newsletter is perfect for you. Email is less stressful and more fun. I also have older family and friends who subscribe to our newsletter because they want to be able to just click on links. They don’t even know what a blog is, but thy

Three. More Behind the Scenes

I love sharing behind the scenes, not so blog worthy pictures and information. There is so much that goes on in the background of a blog, and I love showing people what is happening outside of the blog posts and pictures.

Four. Being More Personal

I love just being able to write like myself in a newsletter. It isn’t a professional platform, it’s just a letter to my friends, saying hi and what is happening in my world. It is fun being laid back! I treat my blog like a business, since it is the career I am working towards, so I try to keep it more business like. The newsletter can be anything I want!

Five. Archives

Typically, we share old posts in our monthly newsletter too. I always have people reply and say they forgot about that post. Or maybe they weren’t readers yet when we published something, so the newsletter is a great way to remember or find new information.
