Today, we are sharing why you need Swedish dishcloths for your home!

This is such a cool cleaning tool you can use again and again plus it will really step up your cleaning game. It will also save you money!

Here is how Swedish dishcloths work and why I have been loving them.

Why You Need Swedish Dishcloths For Your Home

Why You Need Swedish Dishcloths For Your Home

This package is only about $20 and contains 10 cloths. They are machine washable and reusable too!

So, how do Swedish Dishcloths work?

Swedish dishcloths are often referred to as a reusable paper towel. They are made from cellulose and cotton, so it is similar to a towel, but also works like a sponge. Each dish cloth becomes soft to the touch when wet, but has great scrubbing power when it is dry.

According to the manufacturer, each cloth can be reused over 100 times. So, one Swedish dishcloth is equal to 15 paper towel rolls!

This makes a Swedish dishcloth very Eco-friendly. It is also bio-degradable, so once the cloth starts to fall apart, you can just throw it away or compost it.

How To Use a Swedish Dishcloth:

Use it completely dry for wiping up things, or you can use it wet for things like dishes. After you use it, rinse it out with water, wring out excess liquid, and lay it flat to dry.

You can clean it by throwing it in the washing machine on a regular cycle. To dry, lay the wet cloth out flat for a few hours.

Most of these can be used over 100 times and still have good cleaning power.

What To Clean With Swedish Dishcloths?

Whatever you use a paper towel for, you can use this for too!

Cleaning Mirrors

This is my FAVORITE way to use these cloths. I keep one in my bathroom specifically for mirror cleaning now. It is so fantastic for that. All you do is spray your normal mirror cleaner, then wipe it off like you are using a paper towel.

Wiping Off Counters

I love microfiber cloths, but I really prefer using paper towels for cleaning off counters. I use these now and it is just like using the paper towel. I keep it dry for counters and wipe off cleaning solution with it.

Dishes

Due to the sponge like texture when these cloths are wet, it is awesome for dish cleaning too. You use it just like a sponge.

Bathrooms

You can clean bathroom surfaces like counters, tubs, floors, and baseboards with this. Spray bathroom cleaner, then wipe it off with your Swedish dishcloth.

Soak Up Spills

Since these are like paper towels, you can soak up spills with them too.

Anything You Use Paper Towels For

Honestly, anything that you use a paper towel for, just swap this! I still keep paper towels on hand for really gross things, but that’s about it!

Swedish dishcloths make a simple and great addition to your housekeeping routine.

We discovered these a few months ago and switched it for the generic sponges. Love these so much more and dries a lot quicker so I worry less about all the bacteria growing in moist sponges
