Friday Favorites – Celebrating Chemistry Cachet this Month!

Celebrating Chemistry Cachet this month!

April is the blogging anniversary of Chemistry Cachet. This year marks TWO years since we started this blog!

In honor of this milestone, we are celebrating Chemistry Cachet this month with a great giveaway for you!

When I started this blog in 2015, I never thought it would grow into a great place that readers come for help. It started as just a creative outlet during a transitional time in my life, but it has turned into a full time job which I am so grateful for each day.

Two Year Blogging Anniversary

Make the most of summer with this fun, old-fashioned summer to-do list on chemistrycachet.com

The best part about Chemistry Cachet is getting to use my chemistry education to share the best tips for health, garden, and home. It has been so much fun getting to help readers with everything from how to clean something to how to bake healthy.

When I was young, I was fascinated by science. Anytime I could  “experiment” with something around the house, I would. My parents bought me a little chemistry set in elementary school that I stumbled across recently.

Inside the chemistry set was a large supply of chemicals to experiment with, when I was reading through them, I realized they were all home solutions I share with you everyday. Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), borax, sodium carbonate (washing soda), cream of tartar, sodium chloride (salt), and a few others. As a kid, I thought these were really hard core chemicals I was getting to use. Little did I know I would have a website one day where I shared with people how to put these items together to make their own cleaning solutions!

It’s amazing how the Lord leads you down unexpected paths, and it’s such a blessing!

Celebrating Chemistry Cachet this month!

I love giving back to readers, so to celebrate today,  we have an Amazon gift card! So many items that I share are from Amazon, so I felt like it was the best place to have a giveaway too!

**The Winner will also receive a free ebook: Chemistry Hacks for Home and Outdoor!

My good friend  Jaelan from Making Mrs. M is joining in with me today! She was one of the first bloggers I met when I started 2 years ago!

Thanks for all your support, and I’m looking forward to what’s in store for chemistry Cachet!

  11. Happy Blogiversary! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this by researching and sharing all of your tips! Your story of your chemistry set as a child reminded me of when I first got mine. I don’t remember everything that was in it but one chemical was sulfur. Now, my being a LOT older than you, I received my kit in the 50s! Let’s just say that you don’t mix unknowns, together with iodine from the medicine cabinet, in an empty pill bottle then shake it up. Yes, whatever I put together blew the lid right off! 😛 I did uses the sulfur to make imprints of pennies! LOL! At least that was safe enough! Sure did stink, though! 😀

    1. That is too funny Linda! I had my fair share of blowing up things too lol I appreciate that so much!! Thank you!
