Throwing an easy pumpkin themed party is a great way to celebrate fall or Halloween with your friends and family.
These ideas are just so simple, but also so festive!
Throwing a themed get together doesn’t have to be hard or expensive. You just have to have all the right elements!
My friend and I do a theme like this every fall, fall is definitely our second favorite season to celebrate together (Christmas is first!). We have been getting together like this since we were in preschool! Anyways, this year, I really just wanted to try out some new recipes and have everything revolve around my favorite fall element, pumpkins!
Okay, so let’s get to it! All the things we did to have an easy pumpkin themed party!
How To Throw an Easy Pumpkin Themed Party
First, you need to set the tone inside inside.
Fall decor, twinkle lights, some jazzy or classical music and light all your favorite fall scents. Check out this post I did about turning your house into the perfect fall day! That will help set the perfect mood.
Also, buy some cheap pumpkins at the store and set them by your porch or lining the sidewalk. Carve a few for inside that can be lit up to make the ambiance perfect!
Another great addition to the ambiance is to make your own autumn room spray with this easy recipe! Your home will smell like the perfect fall day!
Next, you need pumpkin treats!
You will definitely need all treats pumpkin themed!
Crockpot Pumpkin Maple Lattes which are great for a party.
Keep the drinks cold with these incredible pumpkin spice frappuccinos OR this fun polyjuice potion!
Kids will love this creamy pumpkin steamer, and adults with love this pumpkin chai tea recipe!
For dips, cut open tiny sugar pumpkins and dig out the inside. Put all your dips in those!
Get together some pumpkin craft projects
Parties are always more fun when you get to make something fun. We did a fun, super easy Shabby Chic Pumpkin which I posted earlier this week. Something easy and affordable is always the way to go.
You can also save some old plastic pots and make these DIY Jack o Lantern Planters (it’s almost free!).
Another easy option is turning plastic cauldrons into stone planters! Or just get supplies together for pumpkin carving!
Scary movies are also a great way to throw a pumpkin themed party
Check out this list of really fun Halloween movies that are perfect to watch. If you want a small pumpkin carving party, watching a movie is the perfect idea!
Pumpkin Party Favors!
Party favors are always fun to send home with your friends. I made a little goodie bag of all my favorite pumpkin things right now. It’s just fun to give everyone something special to enjoy!
These DIY pumpkin buckets are a cute, cheap idea for that too!
You can also bag up homemade popcorn balls, rice krispies treats, and just regular Halloween Candy!

Oh my goodness, what an AWESOME giveaway! I would be tickled if I won, especially since I’ve been wanting some of that tea and none of the stores by me have it. But, all of those are great goodies! I love this party idea, it could be really fun with adults and some wine, too!
