Happy May!
It’s hard to believe this was the first week of May….this time of year always seems to go by faster!
If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (add me with username alexisroch), you saw all the behind the scenes on our fancy tea on Saturday. It was such a blast with so many beautiful teas and treats. Going to tea has become one of my favorite things to do , like when we go to downtown Fort Worth for tea at the Ashton Hotel.
My mom’s church puts on a fancy tea each year, and she invited me to come. Everything was so beautiful, and I think I tasted about 10 new teas. My favorites flavors were watermelon hibiscus and lemon chiffon….I will share some of my new favorites soon!
Ruger is always doing something so precious! I was cleaning the spare bathroom the other day, and I felt him standing behind me. He pushed me out of the way and slowly climbed into the bathtub (which is hard for his large body lol). He flopped into the tub and sat there. I asked him if he wanted a bath?? I filled it with warm water and he let me wash him and dry him.
He usually hates baths, but I guess he thought that’s what I was doing!
I talked about this on Instagram too, but my new favorite thing to do each Friday morning is go to my fitness class. I love that it has a mix of everything from Zumba to yoga to kickboxing. Even though my RA has been flaring this month, it always helps getting in some good exercise!
I loved everyone’s feedback this week on our new series of posts. I get questions about skincare all the time, so we will be sharing more chemistry beauty secrets in the coming month’s! This week was all about my favorite oil: rosehip seed oil! Check out the details here!
I loved all your emails about it, and I had some really great questions, so stay tuned for more tips!
Last week we talked about our 2 year anniversary on Chemistry Cachet, and we have a giveaway still going on! Feel free to enter below and check out the original post here!

Happy Friday! Oh, Ruger is darling… love seeing pics of him. And wanting a bath? Wow. Exercise (moving) helps with my stiff painful RA joints – warmth, blood flow, endorphins, natural pain killers… And I am drooling over those tea treats! Have a fab weekend! 🙂

It is so good to get everything moving! Helps with RA so much! Have a wonderful weekend Laurie!

Aw, your dog is adorable. I guess that’s how you should do bath time from now on then – if he normally hates it! LOL My dog hates it too – she always tries to hide. She likes to be brushed though. 🙂

I think that is how he will definitely be getting baths now! I wished RUger loved to be brushed…but he hates it so much lol

I want to try that tea. Funny how Ruger wanted a bath. Our dogs hesitate to go anywhere near the bath tub. They might walk up to the edge if I take a bath, but they give me a quick sniff and then run.
Alexis says
That tea is amazing, so much flavor! lol I can’t believe Ruger did that, but I think I know the trick to getting baths now 🙂
