Friday Favorites – Hello Warm Sunny Days!

Friday Favorites- Hello Warm Sunny Days!

I feel like once spring gets here, time FLIES by! And I think I say that every week, but it is true!

This week all I could think about was hello warm sunny days! We had high 80s and even a 90 degree day in there. Texas can do that…go right from winter, to summer. I am hoping it will level off though and we can get some long spring weather this year. Either way I am very happy to be wearing flip flops and spending time outside!

So, all the favorites from the week…

Y’all know I LOVE popcorn and eat is pretty much daily. I have been on another homemade kick lately with my microwave cinnamon caramel kettle corn. It is so easy to make and good for you! I am also trying out a couple new ones to share with you soon 🙂

The BEST thing about the beautiful weather is getting to hang outside under the pergola and swinging on the porch swing. That is such a good stress reliever! If you follow me on snapchat (alexisroch) you saw a lot of that this week 🙂 Ruger loves it too! We are working on some more backyard projects once we finally get everything fixed from the tornado! I look forward to sharing it with you soon.

Last weekend my mom came and spent Saturday with us. We tried out a new place for lunch downtown and it was amazing! I had this grilled chicken salad with apricot dressing which was so good. She had a BLT which was also good! I love finding new lunch spots around town. It was a great day!

Earlier this week I took my Grammy to get her hair done and to lunch. It was a really sweet day! Even at 86, every women has to get there hair done! I helped her with feeding the cows too. This little baby is only 5 days old! Isn’t she adorable 🙂

Soft, fudgy brownie cookies that are totally dairy-free and even good for you! Stop by for some gluten-free options too! on chemistrycachet.com

I played around with an old recipe I made years ago and I love how they turned out! My husband really loved them too, so this will be going live on Monday! They are chewy, soft, and taste like brownies….and of course are dairy-free!

Just a recap of the week on Chemistry Cachet too. I shared some really great stuff that I was excited about! You can catch up on the dairy-free coffee cake recipe, all the details about decaf coffee or tea and if it’s even good for you, and this post about foods that don’t go well with your prescriptions!

What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you have a great one and hopefully the weather is nice wherever you are 🙂
