Friday Favorites – 30th Birthday Celebrations

Friday Favorites - 30th Birthday Celebrations

My birthday was on Tuesday….the big 3-0.

We had some fun 30th birthday celebrations last weekend and this week. On Saturday, two of my best friends took me out to eat and then roller skating. Just like we did back in the day. I have been friends with these two girls all of my life. They have been involved in every birthday, celebration, family event, and get together we’ve ever had.

It is so neat getting to share things with life long friends.

The weather on Saturday was in the 80s, so it was PERFECT! We ate downtown, then strolled around for awhile. It honestly felt like April.

The place we ate at gave me a huge slice of peanut butter chocolate pie for my birthday, so we totally shared that. It was amazing!

I haven’t been roller skating in so many years, but the minute I got out there, it was like no time had past. It was such a blast! I wish skating was the cool thing to do still because it is an awesome workout too.

Skating was my favorite thing to do as a little girl. These two and myself used to skate almost every weekend from age 5 to probably age 12. Brought back so many memories!

On Tuesday, my actual birthday, my husband took me to downtown Fort Worth for lunch, then we saw a movie. The theater down there is my FAVORITE theater to go to. It has recliner chairs, the best popcorn, and it is so cute too. I shared that on instagram! Anything pink is always my favorite 🙂

It was a great way to celebrate 30 🙂

My family got me these birthday card because it looked like Ruger….and it does! I died laughing when I saw this 🙂 Ruger was not amused!

Since the weather has been SO warm, we already have some yard work to do this weekend! What are your plans?
