As I sat down to review the week for my post today I was shock to see it’s the middle of September already!
Is that possible??
Well, I am glad though because that means fall is coming fast! I am super happy about that!
The good thing about my husband working nights is sometimes we go to breakfast together when he gets home around 7am. The other day we headed downtown to my favorite coffee shop for breakfast. I love downtown when the sun has just risen. It is very quite and the only places open are the coffee shops and breakfast places. Very serene!
Our pumpkins are still looking food, but they haven’t started making anything yet! I really hope we can get a few little pumpkins by the end of October! I started adding some of my homemade plant food this week, so we will see what happens. This homemade plant food is a new chemist solution I am working on that I will share soon 🙂
I have made these fresh apple scones a few times this month. They are so fun to make right now with all the delicious apples in the store! Perfect with fresh maple syrup on top too! Did you see these apple oatmeal cookies on Monday? I need to make some more this weekend since we go through them so fast! Another really delicious apple recipe.
I got out some fall decorations this week. I hope to get started on putting it out this weekend! I am also working on my outside porch area. I have a fun DIY next week for that! I just love this pumpkin we made last fall. It is such a pretty addition in the kitchen right now.
