This Pearly Monoi Oil Adds A Beautiful Shimmer and Glow To Your Body
You can see in the photo how shimmery and pretty it is. I was curious when I first bought it how it would look on your skin. I was pleasantly surprised how it just melts into your skin, leaving a slight shimmer.
What Is Monoi?
Monoi is an oil made from soaking petals from the Tahitian gardenia flower coming from French Polynesia. This unique oil has a lovely scent (think summery, slightly coconut, fresh bergamot, sandalwood ) while nourishing and hydrating your skin.
Monoi oil is very beneficial for your entire body, but this particular one from Yves Rocher is very unique with the infusion of fine mother-of-pearl! It also provides a subtle shimmer, enhancing your natural glow. I love the brand Yves Rocher! They are the number one beauty brand in France with luxurious, plant-based, high-quality products and 65+ years of expertise. I am always so impressed with their products including this oil.
It looks like beautiful gold flecks inside the oil, but goes on so smooth with a lovely shimmer! This shimmer deeply enhances your skin’s glow and enhances your tan.
How To Use This Pearly Monoi Oil
I brought this Pearly Monoi Oil along on my beach vacation last month, and it quickly became a favorite for achieving that perfect sun-kissed look. This is not a bronzer, just a natural shimmer. All skin types can enjoy the benefits of this.
Here’s how I used it:
After showering and applying my regular moisturizer, I put a few drops of the oil into my palm and smooth it over areas I wanted to highlight. My go-to spots were my chest, legs, and arms – it provided deep hydration with a beautiful shimmer.
This oil is also fantastic for nourishing your skin after a day at the pool or beach. After your outdoor activities, you can apply for an extra boost of moisture and glow.
Now that I am back in my normal summer routine at home, I use it each morning after showering concentrating on legs and chest. Any areas that you can see! Just remember, a little goes a long way. Just a few drops needed per spot.

Not at all! After rubbing it in, it absorbs well. I haven’t had issues with it rubbing off onto my clothes
