Just for fun, I thought I would finally share with you some photos of our master shower remodel before & after. We did this back in February, but I haven’t had a chance to share the photos with you.

Having previously remodeled our master bathroom with subway tile and absolutely loving the result, we’ve decided to incorporate it into this home as well. We’ve found the existing brown stone tile challenging to clean and not very durable. In contrast, subway tile consistently proves to be a robust and easily maintainable choice.

We used Vaz Tile again for this project, they are fantastic! He is always so prompt and stands by his work too.

Another thing I was really excited to redo was the wall around the shower and bathtub was just regular paint. This was not a good idea with an area that is constantly wet.

I had decided when we were going to redo this, I wanted to tile all the areas of the wall as well.

A couple of features we added is a large shampoo niche to the wall. I love a spot that is tall enough to hold any size bottle, but also long enough to hold everything with ample space.

Another thing I wanted in this shower is a shaving niche for my feet when I shave my legs. This shower isn’t large enough for a bench, but having a spot to prop up a foot is amazing.

Other small features we added were a grab bar and white quartz on the bottom of the shampoo niche, shower door wall, window sill area.

Lastly, we went with a frameless glass shower door with enduroshield coating. This is also what we did last time, and were so pleased with how it looks.

We are very happy how this turned out! It makes cleaning faster, and it makes the entire bathroom brighter too.
