I am sharing some NEW skincare products I have been testing since April, and most of them are affordable finds from Amazon! I always test skincare for several months before recommending it because I want to see how it performs over time, not just after one use. And there are no sponsored products on here, just items I personally bought and tested 🙂
Fall is one of my favorite seasons, but cooler, drier air can quickly leave my skin looking dull, dehydrated, and less plump. As a chemist and busy mom approaching 40, I am not interested in applying dozens of random products. I prefer targeted formulas that support hydration, improve the appearance of texture, and help my skin look healthy and refreshed.
These are the new products saving my skin this fall. I don’t necessarily use every product on the same night. Instead, I rotate them based on what my skin needs.
Quick Shop: Products Saving My Skin This Fall

Coming over from Instagram or don’t have time to read the entire post? Here are all the products I have been testing and using:
- 20-Minute Face Mask: BYOMA Bio-Collagen Radiance Facial Mask
- Collagen and Peptide Serum: SUNGBOON EDITOR Deep Collagen Silk Peptide Intensive Ampoule
- Neck and Décolleté Treatment: ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream
- Forehead Patch: TEREZ & HONOR Retinol PDRN Forehead Wrinkle Patches
- At-Home Red-Light Mask: Wavytalk Glow Time LED Therapy Mask
- Face and Eye Cream: Yves Rocher Botanical Bud Nectar (do subscribe and save for a bigger discount!)
- Overnight Cream: FRÉ HYDRATE ME+ Overnight Plumping Peptide Mask
- Alternate Overnight Cream: ELEMIS Superfood Midnight Facial
My quick routine: Start the BYOMA mask (2-3 days a week), peptide serum, targeted neck or forehead treatment, face and eye cream, and allow to dry. Follow with the red light therapy mask every other day. Finish with an overnight mask just 2-3 days a week.

BYOMA Bio-Collagen Radiance Facial Mask
This is the mask I reach for when my skin needs a quick boost before an event, photos, or makeup. Unlike many collagen masks that need to stay on for hours, the BYOMA Bio-Collagen Radiance Facial Mask is designed to work in just 20 minutes.
The peel-off formula contains bio-collagen, glycerin, cica, astaxanthin, and BYOMA’s tri-ceramide complex. Together, these ingredients help hydrate the skin, reduce moisture loss, and support the skin barrier. My skin looks smoother, plumper, and more radiant after I remove it.
A quick chemistry reminder: topical collagen does not replace the collagen deep inside your skin. Its most noticeable immediate benefit comes from hydration and film-forming properties, which can temporarily make the surface look smoother and fuller. BYOMA describes the mask as a 20-minute treatment for improving moisture retention and skin texture.
SUNGBOON EDITOR Deep Collagen Silk Peptide Intensive Ampoule
After masking, I apply the SUNGBOON EDITOR Deep Collagen Silk Peptide Intensive Ampoule. This Korean serum contains multiple forms of collagen and a complex of peptides.
Again, topical collagen should not be confused with rebuilding all the collagen underneath your skin. However, collagen-containing formulas can be excellent humectant and conditioning products. Peptides may also help support smoother, firmer-looking skin when used consistently.
This serum gives my skin the silky, hydrated finish I crave during fall without feeling like I have applied a heavy cream too early in my routine.
ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream
We spend so much time caring for our faces that it is easy to forget the neck and décolleté. I have been using the ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream specifically in this area.
The formula combines retinol, collagen, and peptides with a built-in W-shaped gua sha applicator. The massage component can temporarily encourage circulation and reduce puffiness, while retinol supports smoother-looking skin over time. ANUA designed the applicator to glide along the neck, jawline, and décolleté.
Because this contains retinol (small amount), I introduce it gradually and use it at night. I also apply sunscreen to my neck and chest every morning. If you have sensitive skin, begin with one or two nights per week instead of using it nightly.

TEREZ & HONOR Retinol PDRN Forehead Wrinkle Patch
Forehead lines are one of the areas I have been targeting without Botox or fillers. These hydrogel patches are made to cover the forehead and the “11 lines” between the eyebrows. I leave mine on for about two hours.
TEREZ & HONOR Retinol PDRN Forehead Wrinkle Patches contain encapsulated retinol, PDRN, collagen, and peptides. The occlusive hydrogel material helps hold moisture against the skin, which can make lines look softer and less pronounced after use.
PDRN is an emerging skincare ingredient receiving plenty of attention, but topical PDRN research is still developing. I view this primarily as a targeted hydrating treatment—not a topical replacement for an in-office procedure. The brand recommends using the patches two to four times per week. See the product details from TEREZ & HONOR.
Yves Rocher Botanical Bud Nectar Face and Eye Cream
This is the only truly pricey product on my list, but the quality makes it worth the splurge for me. One jar typically lasts me more than two months because I only use it at night, and a small amount goes a long way.
The Yves Rocher Botanical Bud Nectar nourishes my skin more than almost any other cream I have tried. It has a rich, luxurious texture that is especially helpful when my skin starts feeling dry during the fall. I pair it with the Botanical Bud Nectar Eye Cream to give the delicate skin around my eyes additional hydration.
A quick look at the science: Plant buds contain concentrated compounds that help protect and support new plant growth. Yves Rocher uses nectar derived from syringa buds in this skincare line. The botanical extract contains antioxidant compounds that can help defend the skin against oxidative stress while supporting a smoother, healthier-looking appearance. However, the cream’s immediate plumping and softening effects also come from its moisturizing ingredients, which help strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and reduce water loss.
Yves Rocher regularly offers discounts on its website, so I can usually save between 20% and 30% on my order, or the subscribe and save will even take off 50%…and you can cancel anytime. The face and eye products are sometimes available in discounted bundles, too. Although the initial price is higher than the other products in this post, they last a long time , making the cost per use much more reasonable.

Wavytalk Glow Time LED Therapy Mask
Skincare products are only part of my fall routine. I also use Wavytalk Glow Time LED Therapy Mask for approximately 10–15 minutes after applying face cream. Always let your face cream dry first!
Red-light therapy, also called photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light to influence activity within skin cells. Research suggests it may help with inflammation and visible signs of aging when used consistently, although at-home masks are generally less powerful than professional treatments. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends thinking of red light as a complementary treatment rather than a replacement for proven skincare. Read the AAD’s red-light therapy overview.
I always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use the recommended eye protection. Anyone with a photosensitive condition or taking a photosensitizing medication should check with a healthcare professional before trying an LED device.
The Overnight Cream That Seals Everything In
My last step is always a nourishing overnight cream. This helps slow moisture loss while I sleep and keeps the rest of my routine from leaving my skin feeling dry.
I rotate between two favorites:
- FRÉ HYDRATE ME+ Overnight Plumping Peptide Mask: This is my choice when my skin feels especially dehydrated and needs a richer, peptide-focused final layer.
- ELEMIS Superfood Midnight Facial: I use this when I want a creamy, comforting treatment that leaves my skin soft, nourished, and glowing by morning.
The Order I Use These Products
On a full treatment night, my routine generally looks like this:
- Cleanse and completely dry my skin.
- Apply the BYOMA mask for 20 minutes and remove it.
- Apply the SUNGBOON EDITOR peptide serum.
- Use one targeted retinol treatment, the forehead patch or the ANUA neck cream.
- Apply botanical bud nectar cream, let it dry.
- Use the Wavytalk red-light mask.
- Finish with FRÉ HYDRATE ME+ or ELEMIS Superfood Midnight Facial.
This may look like an extensive routine, but it is not what I do every evening. Most nights, I cleanse, use a serum, and finish with an overnight cream. The masks and targeted treatments are extras I rotate in throughout the week. I do them just 2 times per week, but I wanted to include the full routine in there!
The goal is not to overwhelm your skin with every trending ingredient. It is to select products that serve a purpose, use them consistently, and support the skin barrier as the weather changes. And no matter the season, daytime sunscreen is still the most important step for protecting the results of your nighttime routine.
