It’s the 8th week of the year! It is truly hard to believe that we are at the end of February. And that I am 29 now…wow! So, here is a little behind the scenes on my life this past week. You can catch up on the previous weeks below 🙂

Feb 18: Looking through old photos with my Grammy. These were a bunch of her brother during WWII when he was stationed in Japan. I love looking at all pictures from then!
Feb 19: The weather was amazing, so I opened up the windows and worked on a bunch of blog projects. Here some behind the scenes on something coming soon! Vanilla Beans 🙂
Feb 20: We took a little trip to my parents to have lunch for my birthday. My husband and I walked around and took some pictures. It was such a relaxing day!
Feb 21: I woke up on my birthday and my husband had some little gifts sitting out. One of them was a blackberry bush! I cannot wait to plant it!
Feb 22: Camera shy today lol
Feb 23: Random rainy, chilly day. I passed by this tree in my neighborhood…it is already blooming. I guess Texas is ready for spring!
Feb 24: Made another batch of this awesome stuff..recipe coming Monday. 🙂

Happy Thursday Alexis… yes, here in CA, due the much-needed rain and now warm February, the trees are prematurely blooming, especially the acacia trees! Ah-Choo and sniffle. We now need rain to tamp down the pollen count. Our nearby park has beautiful blooms, much like your neighborhood tree. So excited for you and your new blackberry bush… oh the goodies you will conjure up with the berries, if you don’t eat them all straight off the vine! 🙂
